It's a new inside joke between my friend Andi and I that summed up our jewelry making, laughing, eating, moving from one great food induced coma to another, United States of Tara marathon, dancing, and more jewelry making week! Andi and I met on my first teaching trip to Moab last year in July when I went to the Peace Tree where she was the chef and manager. We hit it off and spent lots of eating, drinking listening to our new friend Matt play his Hang (pronounced Hung) and hiking time on that trip. When I drove through in September on my annual music fest trip to Colorado, I had to stop and say Hi. Then I went back down to teach in November and we finally got to make jewelry together and I Feng Shui'ed the Peace Tree and of course she fed me a lot again! So when she called and said she wanted to come up I cleaned up my remodeling mess, made my house presentable and I couldn't wait!

She wasn't here two hours and I whisked her away to the Sundance Christmas party and the food and dancing began! My oldest son wants to become a chef so next I set up a dinner making party for us and we went shopping. We made (well, they made, I washed dishes and tried to stay out of the way) an amazing dinner and Andi taught Carlin a lot about cooking and stuff and we enjoyed every minute of it! That night was the second night of my silversmithing class and creativity was not in short supply!

All day Thursday and Friday we made jewelry, then we hit the dance floor Friday night to shake our creative energy out. Saturday I taught a class at Sundance and we made more jewelry with some fun guests. We headed up to Salt Lake after to get a card reading from Marsee, the best card reader ever. She has always been right on and Andi was blown away! All the fun of the day caught up with our stomaches so we headed over to Omar's for the best raw food in the state of Utah. We headed back to Provo and picked up my Jackson and our jewelry started calling us again so we headed home to finish up a few projects and take photos before she headed out Sunday. But not before Carlin came over and made us some killer breakfast quesadilla's!

It was a recipe for a great week and here are some photos of the jewelry she and I made:
