I love hearing the words "Hi Brittany, I have some clients who want some jewelry..." I then get to create some new jewelry, pull out parts and pieces of stuff I have been working on to present to them or tweak something I have already made. In this case I have had these water casted pieces I have been dabbling with but hadn't really committed to anything yet. So I assembled them into pairs for cufflinks or earrings and took it from there.
Some of them don't play well together, some of them nestle inside of each other like they were made for each other and it is fun to see how the shapes come together.
Then for the soldering, pickling, patina, polish, and photo and they look like this... (yes that's a lot of p's)...
I want to do some without the patina also because I like the pickled white color with a little polishing...but that's another batch on another day. They are off to the approval committee! Wish me luck!
